The love the shimmer halides put off
I ran a chiller over the summer running T5s so heat isn't a issue for me. I'm also total electric so the heat they put in the air is a double win for me lol.
Expense is like a bad word in this hobby
I'll take 10 years of 2 bulbs replaced ever year for the color I like. Comparing that to 8 T5s yearly. Leds just don't do anything for me, plus the heat they don't put in the water makes your heaters run more:beer:

Since the tank is jacked up I figured why not change the lighting again

I hope this coral turns out to be close to a pearl berry. I did the bayer dip yesterday, 25 mil bayer and 250 mil water for 20 mins. And then 2 rinses.

tested some today and got

Po4 .48
mag 1170
Last week mag was 1260 and I added a half cup of Tech M after testing.
Calcium reactor has been took off till I repair(rig) the pump.

It's been a while since I've updated. I did a 40 gallon water change and wiped the glass down. I just got the iPhone 7 yesterday and I'm not sure if it takes as good of pics as my note 3.
