So, my old T-5 4bulb unit failed. I decided it was time to stop changing bulbs and go all LED. I had been using two actinic blue 55watt panels...plus the 4-55watt T-5's. My old panels were early models. The white was terrible, so I did not use it. They were also not dimmable. So, the new unit is 2 dimmable panels from DsunY. It was originally a 1 plug unit. I paid $20 extra to have it made into a 4 plug unit...so, the blues and whites can be on separate timers. They even have a special controller that can mimic sunrise to sunset with the dimming feature. I did not want this option. I am very happy with the lights quality. My big issue was it's configuration. The plugs and knobs are on the sides. So, it was very difficult to put them in my cabinet. The legs from the company were AWFUL!! Do not buy them to use these lights. They are really better off as a hanging system. I managed to use the legs from my T5's and stagger the units..one higher and one lower. But..now they are in, I am really liking the look of my tank. ALL LED...done buying bulbs.
Here are the ones I bought

Wow, what an amazing reef. I started over again with led, so far very happy. What is your 3rd pic, it's a beautiful coral.

do they have just blue and white for fish only I cant find them I would need 2x 36 for my tank I am running pc .

I was looking at these because I wanted to grab something to accent from the front of my tank to supplement the reefbreeders I already had. I like that these lights use the 3w leds, but I looked at these for a while and I could be wrong but I believe they don't use a cooling fan. Everything I could tell was that the housing is very simiilar to the marineland led fixtures. Marineland gets away with no fans because they only use .2w leds. Even though these Dsuny lights space the leds more, 3w leds just put off way to much heat to run without a fan IMO.

I'm sure they work well and look great, but I would be surprised if they last as long as other led fixtures. Hopefully you give a review on them if they short out prematurely on you, or if they last.

If you get over a year or two I'd be interested in trying them out too.

I just grabbed 2- 48 inchers I will try them for 100.00 bucks . I am burning 400 watts with my 4 -96 watt bulbs . so if I can save some money on my electric bill that's cool.

So far..the temps on them have been good. I actually have fans on the same timer pointing right at them. So, they have been cool. They claim the heat sink technology keeps them cool. BUT...I will run the fans to be safe. I have been doing it for years anyway.

Here is a link for the specs. The dealer was very good and answers questions well. They actually use American Bridgelux bulbs.

My lights are 1182 watts think I should go all LEDs

That is lots of wattage and heat. I would definitely look into it!!
I will say that for my 90gal..I don't think the 2 units would be enough. I already had the other 2 older units..So, I was set. You really have to take depth into account and figure out what you need.

Lol need alot of light on my 180 :) I got out of sps so don't need that much light just keeping Lps don't got time with work and racing
