5 months ago, one of my two lfs told me this cool anemone would host my ocellaris pair of clowns, so i bought it... thinking it looked beautiful and healthy only to show people on here and learn how bleached it was.... in a 4 month old 28 hqi i didn't think i would be able to nurse it back...by the way this is a heteractis malu, which only naturally hosts clarkii clowns.... once learning of this i was needless to say disappointed with that LFS... well they were half right, my female clown hosted my anemone at night... but ONLY at night... which i thought was strange...
anyways.. turns out that the H. Malu became so healthy after 5 months in my tank that when i brought it to my other LFS to trade out they gave me more credit than i bought it for... not to mention i received an amazing, albeit bigger than expected RBTA which i have had on order for quite sometime... i was able to pick the RBTA before my LFS even acclimated it.. it has been in for about 12 hours now and looks great.. both clowns immediately were attracted to it, and have been busy cleaning everywhere the anemone goes.. its so cool to see them so interested in something.. i have had them since starting the tank and they finally have a real home... check back later/tomorrow there will definitely be pictures -Don
