Finding a Mate

I have a pair of A. Ocellaris (not breeding) for about 3 years. Lost the male and want to find a mate for the lone female. Do I need to get an ocellaris (or the designer variants) or it can be anything as long as it's small? Thanks!

Your chances of them bonding is greatly higher with another A. Ocellaris, although it's not entirely uncommon for A. Percula to form a bond with A. Ocellaris, either.

Seriously though, occs and percs will accept each other just fine, you do not have to stick w/ just occs, and they can be any color or variant of occelaris or percula.
