Finding gobies

Anyone know where I can find clown gobies near town. They never have any at the lfs when I go.

Not sure... other than the online stores. The last time I was on the hunt for the blue neon gobies all I had to do was ask the staff about them and the next time I went in they had some. I think the stores can get pretty much any fish for you with the exception of some of the more rare ones.

Clown gobies are usually pretty common and are almost always available. I've seen them at the petworld in greece most regularly

Caribbean Forest used to always seem to have some clown gobies in stock. Haven't been in the market for fish lately so I'm not sure it that still holds true.

I tried all of the places in town today and there wernt any, thanks though. Anyone know of a website that wont murder you on shipping and surcharges? Fidh 6.99, s\h 29.99, under 150 surcharge 40. By the time your done youve got a fortune spent on a 7 dollar fish.

I am sure that if you talk to anyone at the local shops and tell them exactly what you want they can get it for you. You may pay a little more at the store, but as you said online shipping and handling charges can kill you.

It also helps sometimes to go in earlier in the week right after they get their shipments so you don't get stuck looking at leftovers.

I'd mention to one of the LFS's that you want a Clown Goby. It's more than likely they's toss one into a shipment just to fill the box and you'll have one for cheap.
Research Clown Gobies. Some species eat SPS polyps.
