Finger Leather Not Looking So Hot

So bought a finger leather on Saturday 1/28. Put it at the bottom of the tank 55 gal height half the size (50/50 tank) and two fluval marine 2.0 led. A toadstool I bought one day prior looks great but it is just shriveled and no polyps showing. Was looking good at LFS. Getting use to light?

parms are good, just checked last night.

finger leathers can look terrible for days, then open and thrive, then look terrible again. give it time and good conditions and it will be ok

They go through spells. If nothing has really changed in your tank, you can always move them. Change the flow or lighting or both. Sometimes they would just be happy somewhere else.

These corals tend to do best with a lot of chaotic flow IME. Once the base is secure, it's almost as if they were designed to endure these stronger currents IMO.
