They are a few years old, were in a local guys reef tank. He said they have spawned a few times in the past but not on a regular basis. Then again I don't think he really paid much attention so if the nest was out of sight he probably wouldn't even notice.
There MUST be something in the air here, the watchman gobies I got from Nicole have a HUGE nest hanging right in the entrance to the cave/ burrow (half a flower pot for entrance). For all I knew I thought maybe they had been spawning all along deep in the burrow, that is what I expected. No, this nest is right out in the open. I'm starting a thread for info now. This makes FOUR new pairs spawning the past ten days and all 4 are new species for me
