Fire Coral Problem

When I got my live rock, it came with a hitchhiker fire coral. This coral has been spreading in my tank like crazy. Unfortunately it is now starting to take over. Any suggestions to halt the march of the fire coral?

I just did some searching, looks like its a very tough coral.

I got zapped by some scuba diving in Honduras. Dont touch it, lol. It will leave a scar! I have a pretty colored "Y" on my arm from it. If you do get zapped they say hot water helps. White vinigar is good too.

They say algae will kill them, but thats about it.

I'm new at this so i have no idea on how you could use this info, lol.

Build up a wall with epoxy?

In a roundabout way I've tried that. I epoxied a frag and it grew over the epoxy and the frag :( I don't work in my tank without gloves so I'm not worried about touching it.

Although it's a neat coral, it's not exactly the nicest color. Instead of a tank full of purple coralline algae and colorful corals, I'll have a brown tank!
