Fire Fish

My fire fish couldn't play life's cruel game anymore and some how jumped out a 2 inch gap in my canopy. The bigger issue is that was my 9 year old son's favorite fish, so he must be replaced.

My question is would it be better to keep multiple fire fish 2,3 or 4? or just keep 1? I have a 125 gal mixed reef.

How do they always find the one opening in the lid of your tank anyway?!? Sorry about your fish.

Either go with one or find a pair. Male firefish fight and there is not really anyway to tell females from males. We bought two and figured out after the two kept beating each other up that they were males, shortly after which there was only one. Firefish are very deceiving fish because in the store they school, and then you get them home and they can turn on each other depending on the gender.

Do one unless its a pair. Make sure all holes are covered, they will even jump through egg crate. The netting Bulk reef supply carries works great.

yes i had one of each with no problems. but again you must make sure that there is no were for it to jump out they are crafty
