Fire Sale!!!

This past August when we had our big storms I was on vacation. My neighborhood lost power for two days and as a result my 50 gallon reef tank crashed. The tank was set up since 2000 and I lost thousands of dollars worth of corals and livestock.

I have been keeping my system going for the past few weeks thinking I would re-build but my homeowner’s policy isn’t going to cover any of the loss. So…I am going to have to sell off what I have because I have no money to get the system back up.

This is what I have left for sale:

potters.jpg

Potters Angel $25: Very Healthy, didn’t nip at any of my hard or soft corals. Had in tank for over 2 years. Eats frozen or flake food

Long Nose Hawkfish $20. Very friendly fish, Very Healthy and have had in my tank for 4+ years.

Maroon Clown $10. He used to have 4 anemones to mess around with.

Live Rock: $2/lb. Very mature live rock with lots of coralline growth. No flatworms, hair algae, etc… I have a lot of small/medium pieces and 4-5 large pieces.

Red Mangrove Plants $8 each. I have 10 plants that are in their own tank connected to my sump. 2-3 feet tall and very healthy. DIY Rubbermaid tank they are planted in with sand also available.

Custom Water holding/mixing tanks $60. One tank held my RO water and was connected to another tank via a ball valve. The lower tank could be filled with RO water for mixing salt water. Both tanks have spigots. Includes wood stand.

50 gallon plastic sump $45. Has a plastic grate shelf that supported my skimmer and pumps. Has a float valve installed as well as a bulkhead for a return pump.

50 gallon Acrylic tank with pine stand and canopy. Show tank with dimensions (length, width, height) 36x15x20. Tank has fine scratches on the inside that I am told can be easily buffed out before setting the tank up again. Top middle is plumbed for return line, top left corner has build in overflow with durso siphon. The overflow works really well and the siphon has never stopped and resumes if return pump is stopped. $300

Two 175 watt Metal Halide lights with two 65 watt power compacts. Each metal halide has its own ballast. The Power compacts come from one ballast. $100. Cooling fans also available.

25 gallon acrylic Amiracle sump. Included are 6 filter socks. Sump is drilled on one side. $40

Kent Marine Aqua Dose 2.5 gallon $10 (I have two of these)

Kent Marine Aqua Dose 1400ml $10 (I have two of these)

If anyone is interested in the above items you can PM me with what you are interested in. I am located on the northshore of Milwaukee and anyone that would like to see the tank or other items are welcome. Just contact me and we can arrange a time.

Thanks,

Eric.

Looking to get rid of everything ASAP. Potters is probably 3 inches long. I would say he is med-large compared to other specimens I have seen.

I wish I got up there more often. I wont be up that way for at least another 2 weeks. He is a beautiful fish nonetheless.

how long is the MH fixture? I'm interested if it's 20" or shorter. Also very interested in the mixing bins. I'm on vacation right now, will be up in Milwaukee again in a week. PM me if this will work for you.

I can ship no problem. I'll have to weigh the lighting to see how much it weighs but off the top of my head I think it would be less than $20.

The Holding Tanks and Potters have sold. Everything else is still available.

I also have a Kent maxxima 24 gallon/day RO/DI unit that is for sale as well.
