Yeah, get yourself a TDS meter. Click HERE Also, it doesn't look like you have a DI stage. Maybe I can't see it in the pic. If you don't you can easily add one. That will bring your water down to 0 TDS. That is what you are looking for, purity. ;) I usually purge the system with about a gallon before I use it. Might not be totally necessary, but that's what I do. :)

Heres a better pic of my system. Can you tell if theres a DI stage?

A couple questions please...

I have over 200 lbs of live rock in my tank and another 150 in the process of being cured.

*How long should I wait b4 I put the 150 in my tank??

*How many times should I feed my fish a day??

*Can I add more than 2 corals at once?

*Maybe 10 frags at a time??

*How about invertebrates?

*Is four 1200 maxi jets enough for a 180 gallon?

I have more pics of my tank coming... Im just waiting to finish my aquascape. Thx for answering my questions!

Hard to say.... Like the above poster said, it looks to be the filter on the top as it is the last in the chain. I had a setup like that a while back. Some DI filters are not refillable. They are basically disposable cartridges. Once that one (presuming it is the DI) exhausts I would get a canister style DI so you can replace the media rather than replacing the whole cartridge. You'll save quite a bit of money. Last time I bought one of those disposables they were around $40, verses the $12 you'll spend on refillable DI resin. ;)
