First Anemone

Hi All,
I just got my first anemone yesterday and he moved (as I knew he might). Is there anyway to try to help them move to a more desireable location for me. He has moved to the backside of a rock where I can't even see him. I don't want to damage him by trying to move him but I don't know the proper way to do it.

Thanks,
Andrew

At this point don't to get him to a place you want him to be. Be patient. He will probably move dozen or two times again before he settles down.

Give him a while to settle in, see if he moves again, and if not you'll probably want to rearrange your flow pattern a bit to see if that moves it to a different location.

I just got a new RBTA as well, and I took a pointer from aiptasias. They almost always prefer to be over a hole they can duck into, so I positioned mine that way too. FWIW

I had a new BTA steal a hole from an established one, the senior BTA ended up popping out from the other side, they can really stretch when they want to.
