First fish in the qt!

What?
Bout 2 inches and full of energy. Got to my lfs right as he was finished being dripped lol, poor guy was dripped again when he got home. Been a long stressful day but he's already eaten a little nori and is watching me watch him/her lol. Not the best pics but i figure he's stressed enough for one day.

Yes first bought fish, have a blenny in the dt that came in the bag of sand from tbs, he's been in there for 8 months lol, fat little thing, ive taken it real slow, wanted my pods to have time to populate the system, have thousands of them. lol thought it was about time to start adding fish.

I maybe would have waited to add the kohl tang till one of your last fish as they are a tad aggressive.

This is true. If it ever is a problem you might have to remove the tang and put him in a holding tank for a few days and then add him and any new fish at the same time.

He is going in last. I have a 45g fuge that is gravity fed into the dt and it will be his home after qt until it's time to ad him to my dt. I also wanted to try a multibarred angel and it will be last with him. Was just a good deal and the right size and he did not have to go through the stress of shipping. so far he's doing great, lots of energy.

I would add your multibar as one of your first fish. They are pain in the necks to get eating but once they do they are lawnmowers, or at least mine is.

If you get one see it eat first.

In my opinion I would add any fish I thought or knew was difficult to get eating first.

I classify a multibar under that category. If you asked me about a flame angel or coral beauty I'd say one of the last.

Ah ok I understand now, so there's no competition for food. Thanks for that info, I think I missed that while trying to read all the info here :).

Got him to eat marine flakes today and he'll eat his nori if it's been soaking in the tank awhile and a piece breaks away from the clip, I don't think he likes that thing lol. Also picked up a pair of white striped maroon clowns yesterday and the slightly larger of the 2 beat the crap out of the other in the bag on the way home from my lfs. So my qt is seperated into 3 sections and they are next to each other and never move far from each other. Not sure if they are truly paired but was wondering if i should try putting them together now, been apart for about 24 hours?

it's a 3 section 30 long so they are next to each other but seperated. just wondering if i should leave them like that for a few more days or try them together.

one of our lfs retired got the tank for $25, couldn't pass it up, also got a 45g acrylic for $25 so i upgraded my fuge.
