First FTS of my new 150 SPS tank

Well four years, 1000 posts on RC, and tons of hard work, research, questions and cash has brought me to this. The first FTS of my 3 month old SPS dominated reef. Right now it just looks like frag city but I am hoping someday to have a full reef. All but two of the corals were started from frags and some were transferred over from my old tank and have finally colored up. Anyway just wanted to share this photo and thank everyone for sharing their experiences here on RC. Thanks!

That tank looks huge, atleast bigger than 150. The corals will really look nice in there once they fill out.

Under the hood I have two 400W Radiums, two 175W 10k bulbs, two 96W Actinic 03 PC bulbs, and two Blue 7,100K PC bulbs. The 10k bulbs are some generic name bulbs that came with the fixture and I plan on replacing them with either 10k XM bulbs or 10k Reeflux bulbs soon. Here are two photos I just took really quick…

awesome...do you have the maxi mods on a wavetimer...just wondering what you are doing for random flow

I have a wavetimer but I haven’t been using it since I hooked up the maxi mods. Right now I don't have any random flow and I haven’t really noticed difference since I stopped using it. I try to keep the flow powerful and indirect. Not sure what the long term effects will be but so far so good.
