Well it happened today, I had my first jumper. :(

My female black and white clown went carpet surfing and was not discovered until my GF got home hours later. With a rimless tank i kinda expected to have this problem but with my 6 line or one of my anthids not my clowns.

Ugh..!?!

I feel your pain.... I lost both my black and white clowns to the carpet... Never would have even thought they would jump! Go figure...

if it makes you guys feel any better, i've lost 1 picasso clown, 1 male flame wrasse, 1 mystery wrasses, and 1 jaw fish....thats like over 400 bucks...fml =(

how long (anyone) have your fish that jumped?

I had my clown since the last MAX and they have been in the current tank for the last 6 weeks i thought if i was to have an incident it would have happened sooner, well at least not when every thing was doing so good. If it would have been right when i got the fish it wouldn't suck so much, i really grew to like that fish.

another unexpected for me was finding the body untouched by my cat. he is really interested when the fish are swimming but apparently not so much with a fish out of water.

well at least it wasn't a 600$ fish, wow nava405 that sux.

My b&w jumped the 2nd day I had her. Thank goodness she jumped to the back if an all-in-one tank! I immediately blocked all possible exits!

thats wierd i have had my solana which is rimless for 2 years wrasses in it and two black and white clowns and other fish never had a jumber i guess i have been lucky! sorry to hear about your fishes : /

I've heard of a clownfish that has been in the same tank for 7 years jumping. You just never know with these guys.
