Where'd you get it? I have the dc6000 for return and am wanting to find this skimmer. Really like the looks of it and the DC3000 is a great pump for a skimmer.

Life as an early adopter

Working on a new video to report on how it's actually working. But so far, I'm really happy about this skimmer and it's performance.

Nice can't wait to see. I just received mine but haven't tested it yet. What optimum water height do you have it set at and what power level?

I have it at 20 cm and level two of six.

No, It's actually quite hard to measure because of the construction with external parts. But I would say it is slightly smaller. I moved the air intake to get a better fit in my sump, and the it get's a bit "thinner" as well.

Maybe you know how much air does this skimmer produces? I cannot find such info, even guys from fish-street does not know. Air intake I believe is the main parameter with skimmers

When you look around at skimmer offer that use DC3000 needlewheel pumpe you can see that all are between 900 and 1100lhp.
