First Mushroom Purchase

My first mushroom purchase was delivered today. This is what the seller says it'll look like once it's settled in:

He was very well packed and I've got him floating in the bag for temp acclimation with the lights off. Do I need to drip acclimate him as well?

Well thanks so much, I managed to figure it out. He's settled right in.

it should go in without any problem. Myay take a couple of days getting use to you tank and lighting cycle to open up and spread out- so now just give it some time to do it's rhing. Good lucj with it,

Oh it is beautiful. I never thought I could sit and stare at a mushroom for hours... but I found myself doing that last night. I bought it off of ebay actually but from a somewhat local resident that lives about five hours from me. I can pm you the info, if you'd like. For $5 I got a heck of a specimen. He's about a little more than 2 inches across. This seller doesn't do a whole lot of auctions just a couple of frags every few weeks... but I'm keeping an eye on him. The packaging for shipping was perfect. And within an hour or so this creature was was open and smiling!

I recieved a similiar ebay buy today from a different seller for the same price but the size is tiny... like not even half an inch across. Way disappointed in the frags from this guy. One frag of GSP is brown and nasty... I don't think it's gonna make it. Everything arrived cold and kinda shocky looking.

Yeah, I've had that happen before and it does suck. Even just a "I'm not sure, I don't know" would be better than nothing but then I guess that kinda clogs things up. I apologize if I came around as sarcastic. I sometimes tend to be short sweet and to the point... and then somedays...I run off at the mouth.

I have ones that are very similar to yours but mine is more green than blue. Is yours actually blue or green?
In any case Mine seem to reproduce pretty prolificly (oooh ,nice aliteration) And are spreading fast!
