I did read Pickle's thread carefully, and mostly following his steps. I was away in St Maarten president's week, and transferred the whole tank to my buddy Chris' house.
One fish died the day after the move, otherwise it went smoothly. They are now completely off rotifers and eating TDO B2.![]()
I'm setting up a grow out tank with rubble rock, hang on back filter, and tossed in some green star polyp trimmings from my main tank.![]()

Just bought inexpensive two tube T5 light fixture. Gonna let it cycle and the bring the fish back home.
You can transfer the rock and some tank water to the second 10 gal tank and not have to wait for any cycle.
My clownfish lay eggs about every two weeks like clockwork. There is another clutch that will probably hatch tonight. Problem is I don't have any more rotifers. It's too bad that the lfs don't have. Would also be really cool if there was another hobbyist breeder in the area that I could swap rotifers with. I have a good relationship with two nice lfs in the area, and I'm pretty sure both of the would take some fish. I gave my buddy Chris five, and another friend is going to take two. I'd still like to get them substantially bigger before they go to the store.
Awesome that they are eating so well from the top. I've been following your thread. Great job BTW.
I'm attempting to raise my B&W fry so your posts have been extremely helpful. If I was closer I would have given you some rotifers.

Just a bunch of little black specks right now, crazy how fast they grow. As small as they are, they are noticeably bigger than yesterday. I wonder if I should crank up the airstone more with so many fry? Or maybe a second airstone ?
