A surgical syringe filled with Kalk paste Injected directly Into the little bugger B4 It can retract and they melt never to be seen again. Hey Josh I sent you a couple E-mails today but found my problem with an Eletricians help, And now have two more 20amp lines to run even more stuff If I like! Your tank looks great, When you gonna get the big one done?

Josh the tank is looking Great!! Don't sweat the aiptasia. I have tons in my refugium and even 2 or 3 in my MDT. They just add to the diversity 
. You can kill them like Bill said or get a pepermint shrimp. Where is the goby? Don't ask about mine....... He already the death jump.

The tank looks great! I am going to be starting my first reef sometime soon and it is really nice to see the progression of everything. And that aiptasia looks wicked! Too bad they're such a pest or I would keep that one. I feel like such a girl too because I love those pink zoas

Thanks Bill, glad you got your electrical stuff squared away. I replied to your email too. I may have to get some of this kalk stuff you speak of 
Rick, I couldn't get a pic of him as he has been hiding pretty much ever since I got him but he hasn't jumped yet at least. Sorry to hear about yours. You must have something on the floor that entices fish lol.

Don't mention about the jumping fish....I just lost my bi-color blenny, he's a jumper!!! Jumped out several times at Jame's house and then he jumped again when I was fixing to put him into my tank. Then found him dried up underneath my cabinet. ugh!

Rick,I would be careful letting aptasia run wild, they can quickly take over a tank under the right conditions. Then It's almost Impossible to get rid of them.

Josh, The cheapest kalk Is Mrs Wages pickling lime, You can use this with RODI water to top off your tanks evaporation loss and when mixed Into a paste can be used to kill aiptasia by injection.

Josh, I was reluctant to do what bill said for a long time because I thought "why would people have kalk reactors and Ca media reactors if it was really that easy. Well guess what, it really is that easy. I have been using bills method for over 6 months now and with great results. It also seemed to enhance my skimmer effecney as well! the wal mart in the boro has ms wadges pickling lime on clearance right now because the pickle "season" is really only during the summer. Time to stock up!

I wish I would have known there is a better way to nuke aiptasia, had a big one in the FOWLR tank I once had and bought red sea aiptasia x- it took me 4 applications to finally kill the thing. I would try the syringe and kalk paste since there are so many success's with that method. I don't recommend the aiptasia x because its may not be effective the 1, 2 or 3rd time. Most of us don't have time for that...
A person could always get a Threadfin Butterflyfish if your tank is big enough and if your aiptasia problem gets out of hand. I've seen them go after aiptasia like a kid to cake, and they ignore other corals (at least the one I have seen did)
