Had to show off my first sps colony. I know it's a far cry from this months Tank of the month but it's a start. (Photo could be better)

Also last night I found this little critter hanging out on the colony.
NO HITCHHIKERS ALLOWED
Maybe someone can ID this little guy?

He's in a bowl by himself and probably is going to hitchhiker heaven.

Thanks George

That's a bad acro crab. It will pick on the polyps of the colony. Good idea removing it from the colony.

I had a feeling it couldn't be anything good. It's less then a quarter inch in size. I can't believe I even found him.
Nice thing to be doing at 2 in the morning. Staring for undesirables.

Nice piece, Keep good flow on it. I have found that the centers die out if flow is too low. I just started sps too. I don't even look at soft coral anymore when I goto the LFS

Man it is really lucky you got him out. I need to catch a black crab that got my male mandarin. He has a huge chunk out of his tail and doesnt look so good :(
