photographing the tank is a great pleasure been messing around with some setting but the best results so far have been shutter speed around 1/200 and aperture of f8. using a flash as well. set the camera in M mode and adjust use flash compensation.
the tanks about 7 weeks old. from the beginning added about 100 lbs of live rock. the LFS mentioned with that much live rock, they see some tanks dont peak in the cycle but just creep through it. with regular water checks the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate have all been close about zero. shouldn't the tank be done cycling by now? agreed, probably should have added things slower. am new to the hobby. will continue to check the water regularly and hope the inhabitants stay healthy
