Fish addicted to garlic oil?

Hi,

Has anyone experienced fish getting addicted to garlic oil? I have always fed my fish garlic guard soaked food.

I will be leaving my tank for the first time for about a week, so I purchased an auto feeder. But the food has to be dry. They are spitting out the pellets and since have not shown interest in the food when I introduce it.

I'm pretty sure they won't starve to death and eventually go for it. But now I'm wondering if I should completely get them off the stuff.

Garlic is bad for fish long term.

I think it's mostly recommended for finicky eaters, but causes liver or stomach damage cannot remember which longterm.
