Fish and Moonlights

We is the rule for moon lights on all night. I am sure there is no definitive answer but my Koran Angel and Powder Blue Tang never sleep or rest when moon lights are on. Is this ok.I have set my alarm and check! They never get into the rock and rest like the rest of my fish do?

I use moonlights only until about 10PM.

I leave moonlights on the full time display lights are off. 16hrs or so, same as the sump light.

Do you notice certain fish resting and others that go all night? I also have my sump grow light on 24 hrs. I believe it keeps my Chelurpa from going A sexual but that is just what someone told me!

i turn them on only when the real moon is in phase otherwise dark for them

If the fish were not getting the rest they need they would be dead. As long as they're not super bright you will be fine to run them all night.
