Help everyone,
I am the same person that had a problem with the clown goby eating at my derasa. Now my darn copperbanded butterfly just began eating at my crocea(in the last few hours). Is there anything I can do, besides removing the copperbanded, to stop him from picking? He is not bothering the dersasa yet. Please advise with any suggestions. Weird thing is that they have lived together for like 2 months without a problem.

He might not bother the derasa and only eat the crocea.
If he started picking at it and found out the clam is tasty you wont be able to do anything about it.
The only slimmest chance you have is to put a plastic net over the clam that enough water will flow through as well as light, so you can see the clam extended , he wont be able to eat the clam through the plastic, he MIGHT leave the clam alone after you remove the plastic net.
It's a very slim chance it usualy dont work.
You probably have to decide what you want, the Copperband or the Clams.
You can also remove your copperband and try to be luckier with another specimen.
By the way, it's not surprising me, I know of a Copperband that started eating Clams one day after more than a year in the tank with them.
