Fish Eggs In Tank

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum, but not new to the hobby. I was just feeding my fish and notice some blackish, round and shiny things in the crevice of one of my rocks. They are look like fish eggs to me, but it is really hard to get a good look. I have a yellow tang, blue hippo tang, clownfish, yellowtail blue damselfish and 4 blue-tree chromis. Is it possible that the blue-greens bred and laid eggs? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I am not actively breeding any fish, so it's kind of strange this happened

Thanks!!

Mike

I have never heard of chromis breeding in captivity. Could possibly be small bubble algae, or snail eggs
