Fish fell during transport

Do fish have bones? I acclimated a new fish and while pouring him into the net the bag slipped and he fell 2ft in like an inch of water.

Most fish has bones. But 2' fall is probably going to be painfull but most likely not fatal.

HaHaHa, can fish feel pain? :D

I had the same thing happen when I used to keep cichlids. I was bringing home a mate pair of convicts and I dropped the bag like right in front of my door on the concrete. The bag busted and everything. Just picked the fish up and put them in the tank. They did fine though and ended up being my favorite fish.

How is the fish doing now? If swimming around, probably will be fine, given it acclimates okay.

I have a fire clown that tried to bite me and jump outta the tank and landed on the kitchen floor which was about a 5 foot drop. That was about 8 months ago and he is still allive.

Yes, fish can feel pain. Fish fight and when they're injured they swim away. This simple behavior acknowledges pain reception in a fish.
