Fish Food recipe anyone?

yes, mussels ...idea of how many?

I have two blenders, one magic bullet with extra cups, one reg. size food processor, one mini chopper, many cutting boards, knives and freezer bags

what else should I have ready?

jallard- couple sheets of NORI
Jallard- some sort of fresh fish- meat and guts- silver sides
Jallard- clams
jallard- Formula 1 pellets (some amount of flake food couple
Jallard- Garlic xtreme, squirts of selcon, garlic, and vitamins

I purchased quart size zip lock freezer bags. I also have zip lock sandwich size bags. (so far I can not find mini-ice cube trays anywhere...seems to be a beginning of summer item. I can find regular size trays with no problem...but I think they might be too big...let me know if I should still pick that size up).

I have other miscellaneous ingredients that you guys can pick through to see if you want to add it to the mix.
 
Oh yeah- sandwhich sized ziplocks- don't stuff. it is usually less than a quarter inch thick when flattened- make sure to get the air out. I put papertowels in between the layers of bags so they don't stick together.

I've got some red nori too, I will bring and blood worms and I might have more trapped in that freezer of mine :)
 
well IMO if we mix up enuf fishy smelly stuff what ever we come up with will be better than what ppl buy...any our fsh will love it.

I actually did call and leave myself a message, and got it all together when I got home. It is a mix of the different golden pearls, some cyclopeeze flake, and spirulina powder. Enough for 1-2 blenders- however much you guys plan to make. Make sure to save a baggie for me :)

What time is all this taking place?
 
after looking at the list there are some of the same items being brought by diferent ppl. Im gonna shift things around. Peter, if your wife is going to the asian market for fish....I wont worry bout bringing some. But if she is going to the asian market can you bring the susi eggs too? This would save me a trip into albany. If an item is greyed out in the list it has been shifted or added to someone elses contribution.

Please review the list and if you can't bring what's listed please post it in the thread. Also remember there are 6 ppl involved so bring enuff :D If you have a question about quanity post in this thread.

Also, should I get more frozen shrimp (got a doz of the 26-30 count size, but can get more)?

If he don't have some I do also...I also have shrimp in the freezer so ill bring 6 to add and that should be enuff
 
I have 3 kinds of flakes but not sure what they are until I get home.

Joe, my wife doesn't know what sushi eggs are or what they look like :confused: I have no clue either. Or did you mean just plain ol' fish eggs?
 
:lol: im not sure either, but if you ask the ppl who work there im sure they will show you. I know they are tiny orange eggs.

Joe, I am glad you asked :lol: My wife already shopped the fish, mentioned in my first post, two days ago. Soo..I decided to drop in at Lee's Market, Colgin Ave/Central Ave on my way home. I asked the manager about sushi eggs. He had no clue but pointed out frozen packets of neon orange fish roe. I got two packets for our mix. Afer checking my flakes at home none of them are prime reef flakes. What I do have is formula 1 & 2 flakes. Do you still want me to bring the cleaned fishes or just the roes?
