White tail angel = size , genus, etc. Behavior??

He's the smallest angel in a big tank so he keeps to himself, I can't say how he might act if the conditions were different.

Centropyge flavicauda I believe. About 2" long.

Mike - thanks for the free sand - made the tank looks great and no nitrate/ammonia spike. put 3/4 inch layer over 75% of my 90 display that night and will add to sons tank tomorrow.

Mike- I'll take the angel for my boy - he wasn't paying attention and lost 2 fish due to heater not working- corals are doing Ok - Fish could not survive- 75 degrees. Too bad to as the Potter's Angel was really stunning...

75 degrees really shouldn't kill a fish. One time when my business in WV lost heat, my tank dropped to 65 degrees, and i didn't lose a single fish.

Are you sure there wasn't something else that was going on?

no - not really sure - and the 75 degrees was with the MH light on- so who knows how low it was at night. He actually was not feeding regularly- etc. - typical teenager!! BUT, I will watch more now- he is depressed- as he lost his prize. maybe he will be more careful- it was a "expert fish" which I advised against- but a 14 year old know everything right??
