they rnt like blotches its like if they sprinkled white specs all over the fish, the clownifsh are what look the worst then the purple dottback, i dont think my pajamas have it yet...

what i put in the water is Dr. G's for the coral, i was using an ich treatment before to see if that was the problem but it hasnt done much, and i also add calcium to the tank.

the clownfish have the white specs and some disturbance on the scales and sking surface....

anyone know what this might be and how i can cure it

All my coral look amazing right now its just the fish that im having problems with

thanks!

If the white spots are like sand specles, its a very good chance they have ich. That sucks. Although some people may have mixed feelings about treating ich with freshwater dips, I have to say that it's worked for me. You may want to read up on it and if you have any questions let me know.

oh and another thing before the fish got ill white sand like (but a bit larger) was all over the walls of the tank idk if that has anything to do it with.

sounds like ich. if you cant remove the fish try skunk cleaner shrimp. mr hawkfish had ich, i added a skunk cleaner shrimp, and within a couple days, the hawkfish was back to good health.

Yeah either ich or brooklynella, I have had good success with hyposalinity and garlic but hypo would require that you have another tank or even a rubber maid bin that you could use to drop the salinity down to 1.012. I would also recommend quarantining a new fish you get for this reason specifically. Best of luck.
