I received this Damsel when I picked up some live rock. I do not know what type it is. It is very dark blue (almost black looking) with bright blue spots on it. These are the best pics I could get of him, he does not seem to stop swimming and swims very fast.

They call these by many common names, but I am pretty certain it will mature intoa rather dull and aggressive fish. liveaquaria.com will likely have the 411 and a picture for comparison of this fish, as the name, other than ''jeweled damsel'', is escaping me.

I second flashyleopard's opinion. It appears to be a microspathodon chrysurus. If so, it gets about 6-8" and becomes mean and brown.

+1. Jewel damsel. Mean and ugly as adults.

yep pretty juveniles, big mean and ugly adults, same goes for the Neoglyphidodon species along with the Microspathodon species.
