Fish ideas with cleaner shrimp

Looking for some good suggestions on fish that will not eat skunks or fire shrimp. I love having them in my system and don't want them munched.

I know many of the smaller wrasses, clowns, gobies etc are ok, just looking for some different, colorful ideas beyond the common fish that people would recommend.

My tank just cycled and getting part 2 next week, so I am a while out from adding anything, just getting ideas for my first couple fish.

Tank is a 140 gallon DSA(60x20x27) with 30 gallon sump, eshopps skimmer, 2 vegas, 2 koralias and apex gold.

Thanks,

Michael

i have a kole tang in qt right now. he's a stunning fish and is shrimp-friendly.

do you ever go to liveaquaria.com? you can get all kinds of ideas there!

Yes, everyday at 5pm to check out divers den :)

I took their tour in March this year and they have great facilities.

i have two clowns, one yellow tang, one lawnmower blenny, one flasher wrasse, and one mandarin dragonet currently.

they all get on quite well with my skunk cleaner.

past fish that got along well with him were my sixline (although i would not recommend one of these guys for any size tank, they're jerks, which is why he's gone) and my yellow eyed kole tang.

Any wrasse from the Paracheilinus or Cirrhilabrus genus would be just fine with cleaner shrimp. Cirrhilabrus is quite diverse with lots of colorful members. I'm particularly fond of Blue Flasher and McCosker's Flasher wrasses, as well as Exquisite Fairy Wrasses. I would also second the suggestion for a Kole Tang - it's on my stock list as well.

Orange shoulder, Tomini, lubbocks, Melenarus, foxface, sargassum, Quoyi, coral beauty, Bellus, emperor, zebra eel are my fish and are all safe with cleaners

Beautiful, but difficult to keep in captivity. Definitely an advanced/expert level fish.

Pretty much what I figured based on reading here. The LFS has a nice yellow wrasse that may be my first fish in a couple weeks. Also leaning towards a 3 fish school of Anthias.

The exquisite looks very nice on L A. I saw a couple comments on live aquaria where kole eyes were pretty aggresive and took out some shrimp.

One of the deep bodied.anthias such as pink square, bimaculatus, or fasiatus. The sunburst anthias is another nice anthias as well.

Jawfish also are very interesting, big personality fish that are shrimp safe.

Anthias require multiple feedings per day. As long as you can meet their nutritional needs, they are great fish.

I have a pair of Lineatus wrasse, a pair of fairy Hooded wrasse, a pair of Longnose Hawks, a Regal angel and a Marine Betta with 4 skunk cleaner shrimp. All the shrimps were added before the fish and none of the fish are aggressive towards them.
Always add the shrimp first to be safe.

I really like the longnose hawk, but never thought about one since they're listed as invert eaters.

I will add the shrimp as part of my initial batch of stuff. Thanks for the reply. How big was the hawk when you added him?

Do you have any coral, or just fish?
