Fish ideas

Good afternoon! I am stocking my new 125 gallon aquarium finally. I just got two Tomato Clowns and I wanted to know what would be a good bottom dwelling fish? It is a community tank and I was already thinking of a diamond gobby. Can you guys give me any other ideas? Even fish that hang out in the rocks?

Just be warned for a diamond goby - you can't add one right away or itl starve. They need a mature sand bed as they rely on the microfauna in it.

You could try a red scooter blenny - it's a dragonet so you would need a stable pod population.

Algae blennies like to hang around the rocks along with long nose hawk fish.

You also could try a dottyback - mine swims on the bottom of the tank and under / through holes in my
live rock

I'd suggest the yellow watchman as a fairly quiet, hardy and colorful fellow. Shy at first, can get quite brassy, but bothers no one.

Ill 2nd the Yellow Watchman I have had one in my reef tank almost a yr. now & it survives on anything & everything easily, no starving issues on this one.
I had an infestation of hundreds of brittle stars when i introduced it & in 2 months the juvenile goby had kulled them almost out of existance all the while feeding also on whatever i fed the other fish on as well as my pods. So much for fretting about what to do about all those starfish! And its a super mellow fish. Does just fine without a shrimp too. Love the big frown looking mouth & bulging eyes.... wife named it Kermit LOL.
