Fish know the time?

I see threads with people talking about their wrasses going to bed and waking up like clockwork but it amazes me to see how the fish know when feeding time is. I have an autofeeder that feeds 4 times a day. All my fish meander around the tank all day but at 9:59 they all congregate near the center of the tank waiting for the feeding bonanza. Every 3 hours after that they do the same thing till 7PM.

Animal internal clocks are amazing aren't they? The craziest is coral spawning. The same night, the same time....amazing.

Mine do the same when it comes to sleeping/feeding. Plus, they also beg! If my "big fish gang" sees me from across the room they will get as close to me as they can, and start frantically pacing up & down. And when I get the ziplock bag containing the nori, my tangs go crazy because they can see it thru the glass. My fish can also tell the difference between me and my wife. They don't beg or anything when they see her!
