That liveaquaria picture has been posted a bunch; but if you really want to drool just check out pics of the real thing here.

They're kinda difficult to catch.

These are the best two I was able to manage when one of the LFS got some in.

Hey, just a newbie here!

I have a Yellow Watchman that I wanted to get paired up with my pistol shrimp. They may be from different regions, as they don't seem to want to hang out together...they are oblivious to each other. They are both still very cool seperately. The Watchman is only about 2" long and he enjoys tasting the sand and digging little holes for himself.

When I brough the Watchman home, he was a beautiful bright yellow...as seen here:

Then as time wore on...he changed color...to this...

I'm not sure of an explanation for this...I've been told that maybe the Red Fairy Wrasse pestering him may have made him turn to female...if this is even possible.

Figured this would be an interesting addition to this "little gobies" thread!

Sorry my pix aren't working...I can't quite figure out why???!!! Anyone got suggestions?

Are they in a gallery that you need to log into? Try photobucket.com - works quite well and free too.

BTW, last time some used your handle, it was changed - Good luck keeping it :D

I spend some time infront of the tank and want to show you the results... I hope you enjoy the pictures!
Very impressive, Peter! I did, in fact, enjoy them immensely. Great shots and awsome fish.

Gary,

which fish is that on the first picture with the Alpheus randalli? Looks very small and I am not sure what it is. Amblyeleotris?
I'm not quite sure what the fish is, Peter. I agree that it seems to be some type of Amblyeleotris.

There are a fes more in Singapore who keep them. BTW I don't spot the Alpheus randalli burrow on your pics? You are aware that this goby lives only with the Alpheus?
