I borrowed a friends Sony A100 with the kit lens. These are all handheld. I'm pretty impressed with the camera!

those pics are nice. and if I understand what noise means ,it has some. not sure if that is how you use the word.

Had the regal for about 8 months now. He's real healthy and eats everything and hasn't touched any corals! Ok blazer share the adjustments you made. This was in auto mode hand held with the kit lens so I was fairly impressed.

Ok rather then start a new. I borrowed the XTi with 100mm 2.8 Macro lens and took these tonight. They aren't great but not to bad.

Unfortunatly you see a lot you don't normally see and I have a major red bug issue as you can see here. Guess what I'm doing this weekend! I've got a date with Interceptor. I blew this one way out so you can clearly see the bugs

Ouch, that sucks about the redbugs. Hopefully they will be gone soon. On the other hand, nice pics. Which camera did you like better?

Someone know how to get sharper and clear crystal with this dsrl and lense ?
Any tips ?
Im scared to have blur shot even with a tripod

Sharpness is all about movement so.

Turn off all pumps
Use a tripod
Turn image stabilization off
Shoot perfectly perpendicular to the glass
Use a aperature setting to fully get what you want in foucus and nothing else
Use either a remote switch or timer instead of pushing the button taking the picture

Just a few. Sharpness of all the good DSLR is only handicapped by us users :)
