Fish Spitting Out Reef Frenzy?!

I was finally able to get my hands on some Reef Frenzy in Canada. After seeing all the positive reviews, I definitely wanted to give it a try. I usually feed my fish mysis one day and spirulina the next, soaked in a touch of garlic guard and selcon...which they devour.

Tried Reef Frenzy tonight and they would spit out a lot of the larger white chunks. They definitely ate the smaller stuff...is this normal?

It may have been that the chunks were too big, when I give my fish a piece that's too big they grab it and hold it for a few seconds then release it. For my juvenile clowns I usually scrape some of the frozen Reef Frenzy then add it to some tank water, then I stir the mixture until the bigger chunks are broken into smaller ices before adding it.

Tried mixing it more tonight but same thing...I also have the nano blend for smaller pieces. Most of my fish are juvenile so maybe that's why. Banggai will eat anything though, lol. Makes my zombie snails come out...the other food never did that. Corals seem to like it so far as well...One of my scoly's actually opens up without direct feeding...haven't seen that before either. I'm sure the fish are getting what they need.
