Fish traps not working

I used the simple bottle and bait trap to catch 3/5 fish.

I cannot seem to catch the two fish that started the ich problem. The two tangs, blue and purple.

I have rock work that I believe will collapse if I drain the water. The two fish are not falling for the traps it seems.

They won't go near the seaweed because it's inside the bottle.

The blue tang won't come out of hiding from behind the rocks.

What else can I do?:/

My last idea was to get a hair net. Tie some fishline. Burry the net and place some seaweed on a clip in the center of the trap... And pull. I am out of options.

Why not just remove the rocks? They can be out of water for a short while. Makes life easier. Or get some tubs, drain some water, put some rocks in the tub? Catching fish is frustrating, but sometimes you just gotta break your scape. Having someone else helps too,, obviously.

Good luck, don't give up!

What always worked best for me to catch the most careful fish (sixline wrasses are such) or picky eaters was to pace a mirror at the end of the trap. Many fish can resist food in the trap but will forget all caution to fight off a rival.

Well, I don't want to take down my rock work, but I was thinking it would be beneficial since I had a diamond back goby and a coral banded shrimp disappear. I'm also struggling with hair algae, so this is a great opportunity to do a 50% water change without having my rocks collapse all over my tank and on my corals.
