Fish Vs bristle worm

It appears that one of my favorite fish has bitten into a bristle worm. He has "bristles" stuck around his mouth. I assume that the bristles will eventually fall out but it's affecting his ability to eat. Has anyone dealt with this or know what to do? Thanks

it has happened to my fish before and they are ok

Only a couple days later and fish is fine and bristle free. Thanks for the help
