Great tank!
Awesome pictures.
Naka, Invincible, and fishcraze are the Houston Reef Kings

LOL!! There is also one other guy who has a beautiful SPS tank who is now getting back into it again... I took pics of his tank yrs ago with beautiful colors.. his name is mandoman. SueT is also getting back into it again. We also have Kevin who is also starting back up. I think fishcraze is the only one who stuck it through... but then again.. he had a 180 before. :) :) His wasnt a choice as he had to move into a new home.

I take it temperature isn't too much of an issue in your area?

Houston is notorious for those hot humid summers. It gets super hot!! Chillers are a must if you collect nice corals/fish. If not, you are taking a huge risk. Our electric bills show that this is a big issue. : )

It's a dry heat here. I held my 100g in the garage during the hottest summer in 10 years. :D. It worked, but it was risky. Winter ended up being more of a problem because of heat loss and even faster evaporation because we had little rain.

I love your tank.

Do you only have access from the back? If so, maintenance, frag mounting, etc. hasn't driven you crazy yet?

The reason I ask is because I have an inwall with no front access and in is a huge PITA!!! I hope I don't let it get the best of me.

I have a full tank shot and tons of other pics. Thats coming later.

I used a Sony DSC-N2.. the pocket camera's. I bought the underwater housing they sold with it. :)

do you remember what all you set to take the pictures on the camera.

mode setting, ev setting, etc.

Glad to see some updates of your tank Quoc! All of the frags (except the blue Tenuis *RIP*) that I picked up from you at MACNA are doing well. Do that awesome Acro that you picked up from the vendor/acrylic guy from California do well? If so, pony up some pictures!

Always a pleasure to see your tank.

Oh yea.. its as simple as point and click. I just set it to Auto, then change it to Housing ON and thats it. I just point and start shooting. Make sure you dont block the light when using the underwater housing.

Thanks Fisheebill!

Well.. since I cant show off the full tank shot because someone got trigger happy.. I can at least show the full evolution from start to present. This pic is from 6-2006. And the next pic is the one I took 3 months ago.

My crop of the future :) - ST Soli, TCN 20000 League Purple Lokani, Superman Danea from Ben T at Exotic reef, super bright orange zoo and teal zoos:

More pics to come tomorrow, got to sleep now :D

OK now that is just the most beautiful arrangement of "new crop" that I have ever seen.

Tell me, are zoos not bad beside SPS?
- I had "something" almost kill a lovely SPS of mine, I ended up having to frag all the good bits and make new colonies.

I would like to place some nice zoos such as yours at the base, but am hesitant as you can imagine.

Otherwise fabulous aquarium, really nice colours and rockwork.
