Hello all-
I have recently obtained a 160 gallon tank which has been somewhat neglected and overstocked. I am planning to break down the tank within the next week or so and am looking for new homes for a few larger fishes ASAP. If you are interested and have a stable aquarium that is large enough to house any of the below please PM me.
Those that BADLY need new homes:
- a full grown Moon Wrasse: Thalassoma lunare- this fish is very energetic, aggressive and in great health. I want to find a home for it that is at least 180 gallons- ideally over 200gal. because it is close to 10 inches and highly active.
- a large Sailfin Tang- I believe it's a Zebrasoma desjardini- but will verify that. This fish is showing some signs of nutritional deficiencies which I believe will clear up once it gets a larger home and fed more consistently. I would like to find a home for this tang that is at least 180 gallons because it is also 10+ inches.
- a large Yellow Tang- Zebrasoma flavescens. This fish is also in need of some diet improvements to bring it into peak condition. I would like to find a home for this tang that is at least 140 gallons because it is roughly 8 inches.
- a med-large Blue Tang- I believe it's a Paracanthurus hepatus but will verify that. This fish appears to be in good health and is about 6-7 inches. I would like to find a home for this tang that is at least 140 gallons.
- a med- large Pink Tail Trigger- Melichthys vidua... This fish has a very likable personality and while it eagerly accepts food- I would not consider it to be overly aggressive towards other tankmates. I want to find a home for this trigger that is at least 100 gallons (its probably 7-8 inches).
there are some other fishes: a pair of clowns w/ E. quadricolor (Im not sure on the species of clown), a 6-7 inch Damsel (unsure of the species) and some rock covered in elephant ear Mushrooms that i will be selling as well.
Im not trying to make massive profits off of these fishes- I am more interested with finding them proper tanks IMMEDIATELY!
I will post photos within the next few days.
Thanks- and please PM me/ post any questions you may have.
