Swimming in the School
Here is my 187 gallon FOWLR. The tank is a Clarity Plus 187 gallon tank (60" long x 24" wide x 30" tall). It has rounded corners and a built in overflow on the back wall. I have about 200 lbs. of live rock from various locations (mainly Fiji and the Caribbean). I have a G200 Protein Skimmer in my homemade 55 gallon sump/fuge combo. There are 2 koralias to help move water, as well as two random old pumps I had laying around.
Here's the current stocklist in order of introduction:
2 Ocellaris Clownfish (A breeding pair)
3 Yellow Tailed Blue Damsels (A breeding pair and the odd man out)
1 Blue Devil Damsel (Who is suprisingly well mannered)
2 Yellow Tangs (Who get along great)
1 Melanurus Wrasse (A supermale)
1 Bluehead Wrasse (A male)
1 Aiptasia Filefish (He successfully eradicated all of my zoanthids and mushrooms, making my tank a FOWLR)
1 Bariene Tang (Who is an awesome little guy)
1 Sailfin Tang (Who keeps the two yellow tangs in their place)
1 High Hat Drum (Who eats greedily, cleans my sandbed, and looks awesome. Really active fish that begs for food like my cichlids)
1 Blue Spotted Toby (Who is really peaceful, leaves everyone alone)
