Fishstore Rounds?

Anyone making their weekly or bi-weekly rounds to the fishy stores today? I'm thinking about starting at around 11:00

Haha yeah I got at least once a week. I will be hitting up reef connections to pick up my tank and probably some sand today. I might check out Pets Etc. too if my girlfriend is with me as she likes to look at the dogs.

has anyone been to the new shop in town? silvers scales and tails? i just saw it yesterday while looking for ricos pizza. (ricos moved?)

Yep! Actually I frequent it quite often for various things. They've done away with most all fish now that Reef connections is right down the road now. They still have some fish dry goods and frozen foods. I have Ryan (the owner) order me things from time to time and he's a good guy. I go in about once a week to see the new birds and reptiles he's got as well. Good guy, just don't expect to see any fish their.... Well they have fish but only some guppies, goldies and beta's.
I do pay some good prices for food their though and he hooked me up with the frozen food at a great price since he's not carrying fish anymore.

I'm confused. Pets etc.? I thought it was fish etc.... but they don't have dogs

Haha yeah it's confusing... there's pets etc. which is right buy round table on pillsbury where the meetings are at, they have all kinds of pets.

Fish Etc. is as you know just fish, off of forest ave.

No... That's Chico Pet Works in the Pillsbury shopping center. Pets Etc. is where I used to go in the late 80's, early 90's here in Chico. I forget where their original location was, but eventually they moved across the street from Wittmeier, but then I think they sold and became Fish Etc.

O shoot haha I've been calling it that for days.... My bad...... Yeah you're dead on with that one. I think I remember them having a huge fire in the fishroom and having all but a couple goldfish dying.... Sorry for the confusion

I remember they were always more oriented towards Fish.... but they had birds and reptiles as well. You know what... I think I remember the fire too... that had to have been... 10 years ago? Where were they before that Forest Ave. location... anyone remember?

i made mine to the one whole store here in redbluff...

to my luckyness they just got fish in and had a very good looking purple tang and it was even a good deal on him....

Got a REALLY bright neon green single head of cluster frogspawn from Chico Petworks. Very nice addition to my tank, and brighter than any of the euphylia that I already had.

Nice! I'm a huge fan of frogspawn as well as hammers, I saw a few at reef connections today.

Yeah, I went by there. I have a huge frogspawn, and a hammer too, so I couldn't justify buying too many more... so I've just added that one new frogspawn today and the torch from last week
