fishy's first nano build

IME with a neon dottyback, hiding places are very important. Don't know about tank size, I could see mine being OK in a 10 gallon, if it has caves/cracks/etc. to hide in. Time will tell how fast he grows. He's fed pretty well :-D

OK, I might still consider a dotty back. Or I'll just keep a pretty shrimp and keep the tank coral focused tank. I still don't know which way I'll go

I'll see how expensive they are(if their going to be $160 I'm not interested :p)but the shrimp I have in there ATM are pretty.
I might have Coraline starting to grow but I'm not sure if it is, I've got a free day tomorrow so I'll do a update with pics then.

Sweet! Looking good! How are your lights? Like them?

Nice fairy wrasse btw! Never seen one before

Thanks G, the LED is still going great and the PC adds some nice blue light to the tank. The new hammer I put in yesterday really glows under the LED and i look forward to seeing how well it grows.

+1

Are they one of the "reef safe" wrasses? Very cool looking coloration

Thanks Bob, yes he's a 100 percent reef safe wrasse from what LA and alot of other people said, he hasn't touched my shrimp or snails and is very friendly towards my other fish. There not a very common wrasse either and scored him for 32 bucks because the lfs got the ID wrong, the list price on LA says 69 bucks so I got a half price wrasse :p

Lookin' good Fishy . Really like the scape :).

The Orchid Dottyback, Pseudochromis Fridmani is the mildest of the dottyback family, the rest are @#$#%$$%, from what I've read. They also hold their color really well, never paling unlike other dottybacks that I've kept. It's just my favourite fish, I'd think it'll be fine in your tank, they don't get very big. They're really quick and hardy, though jumping could be a possibility.

Nice score on the wrasse btw, looks awesome

Thanks bello, I still absolutely love the scape:D. The lfs has a bicolour dottyback ATM would that work in this tank?
I showed Biggles the wrasse and he's a little jealous of him:lol:

I think it would be fine. But it's pretty territorial from what I've read. So definitely the only fish in the tank. Especially in yours

I only intend to have one fish in this tank as I want a low bio load, will one get on fine with my shrimps?

I may even get a single Baig cardinal, I think one would be fine as they barely move all day. What do you think?
