Fix for broken brackets on tunze nanostreams?

Two of my four 6055 nanostream brackets have broken. These are the clamps that hold the powerhead to the magnet. From reading this forum, this seems to be a popular problem. I was wondering if there is going to be a fix for these - maybe stronger clamps. These clamps failed in a very short time and I am afraid the problem will persist if they are replaced in kind.

Thanks,
Terry

We are just about 2 weeks out from a new clip with thicker tabs and a softer more resilient plastic. For now I would zip tie the clamp to the magnet and PM me your address. We will ship a new clamp as soon as the new version arrives.

Roger,

I've been bad and superglued everything together. I wouldn't expect you to replace them considering.

Will you be able to sell the mounting kit only (magnets + clamp)?

Thanks!

Yes, I could get you a pair of new magnets at a discount and I have generally found it is very easy to break the clip off the magnet. Just grab it at the base with a pair of pliers and twist them free. Old wet crazy glue doesn't hold that well usually.

I just started epoxying my nanostream brackets together right out of the box...don't figure I will ever want to get them apart again anyway...

Roger,

Will the new clamps be for sale right away or will it take a while to get to stores. I broke one of mine and it was totally my fault (stepped on it).

I was told they will ship to me late this week, it will take a week to get them about and another week to get to stores.
