Fixing 2 Streams to New Tank

My new tank is arriving on Friday, and before I fill it, I'd appreciate any advice on how and where to fix 2 streams.

I was thinking of siliconing the standard adjustable brown glassfibre adjustable mounts to the side glass towards the back, and rotating the streams approx 45 degrees to face the front.

Are there any issues such as vibration noise that I'd need to be aware of? If so what alternatives do people use?

Many thanks

It should work just fine, they do vibrate and make a little noise but itsn't something you will hear over the rest of the equipment. I would get kit 3000.26, this is specifically for siliconing the rails and includes plates that have a high content of glass fiber so they adhere very well, especially if you scuff the glass slightly with a scotchbrite pad or 400 grit sandpaper. The rail will then screw onto these plates and it is a very durable mount.
