Flaggin or Goldflake?

Pardon the interruption, but what do I have, GF (as sold to me), FF or hybrid?

Got it. It's a great fish no matter what. Gets along with her tank mates and doesn't eat any of the corals or clams.

goldflakes also have the white stripe on the base of the tail fin...
the most notable factors are the smudgy black in the tail (which FF do not have)

I seen thousands of goldflakes, and its still difficult to distinguish juveniles if they lack the normal markings other either. For all we know the hybirds are different species, less common that both :)

That's too bad as he just came out of QT into display tank. Now I have to catch him.

Pacific Island Aquatics has a nice 3" Goldflake for less than I paid for this guy. Guess I'll be placing an order once I get him returned.

I got my gold flake from Kevin and PIA for 300.00. He's doing great in my 140 reef and was a steal compared to LA or some of the other sites. Unfortunately, PIA is closed down.
