Flake Food

I would recommend New Era Algae Flakes. My Bandit Angelfish loves it as well as all my wrasses. Before using, I had read many positive reviews about it.

Ocean Nutrition, OSI, Tetra, Nutrafin etc. They all work, but having 3 or 4 different types is best IMO. Don't skimp on the Spirulina either. ;)

really depends what do you have primarily. get formula 2 if you have a lot of vegetarians, other wise formula 1 or prime reef works just as fine.

I dont know why, but I have tried two different flake foods and my fish all try them and spit them out. I've given up on flakes.

Non-frozen food should not be the only food given to fish. From my experience fish are healthier with frozen / live food.

^^ Except that's not an answer to OP's question...

To answer OP's question. I have tried various flake foods and the fish mostly like everything when given in rotation. I have used New Era Spectrum flakes, pellets, Hikari Seaweed and Marine pellets too.

I feed Ocean Nutrition Formula One flake. I only feed them a little pinch of that before I feed live black worms or frozen mysis and brine shrimp. After I feed that I rubber band some nori to a rock for my grazers. I don't think flake should be a primary source of food, but I do think feeding a good flake can help enhance a fish's coloring. Just my opinion. And my fish seem to like it too.
