Flakes in Hanna Alk Reagent?

Hi all,

While in general I love my Hanna Alk checker, I have noticed that sometimes there are some flaky bits in the reagent fluid. When the reagent is injected into the test vial, there are a few flakes floating around in there. They are green and look like dried reagent perhaps. Has anyone else seen or heard of this? I imagine this would impact the test results.

yes, it's common ...many have complained. I have not noticed and difference in test results with this stuff in the vial.....
