Just looking for opinions on the possibility of this going to be o.k. Tank inhabitants are as follows. Flame Angel, One Spot Fox Face, Square Tail Bristle Tooth Tang, Dusky Wrasse and a Timor Wrasse. Just thinking about it at this stage as last addition. Flame has been in about 2 months. Thanks. IT is a reef set up and no nipping at this stage from Fox Face and Flame

I have those 2 (( along with a multicolored angel )) in my 65, have been together for just under 2 years now. The flame is the leader, but there is just some very minor chasing that lasts about a second.

I suggest using an acclimation box, and leaving the coral beauty in there for up to a week.

Of course, there is still a chance that it won't work out, and it could be a pain to remove.

Thanks for letting me know your experience. Would love to have them both. We will see. Did you add them seperate or together?

I want to try a flame as well. Have a coral beauty in a 90 for the past 12 months or so. I'm thinking of catching the coral beauty and reintroducing them together. Leave them in buckets for a few hours and try it.

I have both also. I added the cb after my flame angel. the flame chased the cb none stop for 2-3 weeks. after that, everything calmed down.

I have a flame angel and it is a real stunner of a fish. My wife loves the coral beauty too. There's one at the aquarium store now that she wants me to get. I told her I'll look at it but may not be the best idea.

Yes very tough decision. I had a coral beauty but amidst a tank crash lost all my fish so have been restocking very slowly. Saw the flame angel and always wanted one but now my lfs has some very nice coral beauties and this has triggered my interest in having both. Might pull the plug this week and give it a shot. The coral beauty would be a little larger than the existing flame.

I have always felt that one pygmy angel per tank is best - unless you have a REALLY big tank.
