Flame angel bad idea ?

Is a flame angel a bad idea for a 75 gal reef tank ?

In general, I would say that it's a fine idea. While all angels are hit and miss when it comes to corals, the Flames are one of the better. What kind of corals do you plan on keeping?

There is nothing wrong with a flame Angel going in a 75 gallon reef.Just keep in mind dwarf angels can nip.So you might (worst case scenario) have to tear your tank apart getting him out.That is, If the Angel decides to nip at your corals.

I debated for a while whether to get one or not because they are a hit or miss when it comes to coral nipping. I finally got a small flame angel from my LFS and so far I'm happy I did. I have softies and LPSs and so far he/she only kisses the live rocks all day and never get near any of the corals. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of his/her life ; )
